Niku Suzuki (肉 すずき)
When you walk deep into the Yanaka alleys, you start to see this type of local market and real people. Who doe not like to have the fresh made bites? This Suzuki meat is a meat store, which they used to sell fresh meat But now they sell foods such as this croquet. This croquet is a mix of ground beef and potato deep fried with panko breadings. They also have other kinds of croquets as well as pork chashu and teriyaki chicken. The store has changed to sell products using the meat or sometimes even differnt from meat. It all depends on a day. People usually line up to get the croquets. Croquets used to be the snack in Japan. I bet my parents used to ha e that for their 3pm snack time when there is not much sweets like now. Well, anyway, if you walk around the yanaka area, I am sure you get hungry from walking and once you see people eating, and the steam coming out of croquets, you are gonna wanna try!!
