W hen Tokyo gets cold, you just want to sit down for cozy warm food. This is it. You basically fire up the pot with broth in it at your table. You can do Shabu-shabu ( cooking thin sliced meat) or cook vegetable, fish, and udon noodles. The broth gets greater flavor as you put more ingredients in. The dish will entertain your night and warms you up… especially when you drink some alcohol with it!! The best is when you put the live shrimp into the pot and hear their last word. Get a set menu (usually vegetables, meat, and udon noodles) to start and if you like to add more, and you can always add more. This one is at the Shibuya Mark City restaurant area, but there are more locations available.
