This sushi place is probably the 1st place I was ever able to go on my own. A lot of sushi restaurants usually don't have the menu and you tell chef what you want and usually they figure out the price later. So you never know how much it will be. Anyway, this place has the price list, and I was able to pace myself. Anyway, they have great sushi selection, very close to the chef and you can enjoy the conversation with the chef, also this place's negitoro (the prime tuna) is their signature dish everyone has to get. I like the easy casual sushi environment and it's not so expensive. Very close from the Okachimachi station but you can walk from Ueno as well. Sit in front of the chef and tell him Negitoro to start with you drink and tell him and point the finger on what you like him to make.
